We focus on several aspects: solar panels, water purification, energy recovery, ecological transport, supporting social goals...
The laundry is equipped with green electricity and economical lighting.
The state-of-the-art infrastructure and cutting-edge technology of our suppliers in the area of water and energy recovery guarantee a limited ecological footprint. Over the years, we have used 95% less water, 60% less electricity and 75% less gas.
Since 2019, we have also been using our own water treatment station. This investment will reduce the consumption of fresh water by 80% to less than 1l per kg of laundry. For comparison: traditional washing machines use more than 30l per kg of laundry.
We buy linen with the EU Ecolabel and / or Fairtrade label from our regular textile suppliers. Our soap supplier Christeyns also has ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification and helps us reduce our ecological footprint.
A number of our clients have also already achieved the eco-label for tourism and recreation, namely De Groene Sleutel. This is an international quality label for environmentally friendly tourism companies.
Due to the relatively small region in which we work, the fuel consumption of our lorries is limited. The lorries are also equipped with Adblue, to reduce the emission of nitrogen oxides.
In addition, we work with roll containers to transport the linen. The roll containers are equipped with pull rods to ensure that the logistics at the client's premises run as smoothly and ergonomically as possible.
